About Element Minneapolis - Brooklyn Park Laboratory
Element Minneapolis–Brooklyn Park is a Center of Excellence for EMC, radio, wireless, and medical device EMC testing, supporting manufacturers across IoT, industrial, consumer, household, and laboratory equipment markets.
Located northwest of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, the laboratory features a 10-meter semi-anechoic chamber for zero–ambient–noise emissions testing and two 3-meter chambers for emissions, immunity, and RF evaluations.
The facility offers comprehensive radio and wireless testing, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, RFID, cellular module integration, short-range devices, and ultra-wideband. An advanced OTA chamber enables CTIA-compliant Over-the-Air testing, including 3-D antenna pattern measurements down to 400 MHz. Staffed by experienced EMC and wireless test personnel, the lab provides support for FCC, ISED, MIC, CE, UKCA, and RED certifications, as well as medical device EMC evaluations to IEC 60601-1-2 requirements.
Element Minneapolis–Brooklyn Park also provides global market access services for more than 190 countries, covering testing, certification, regulatory guidance, in-country representation, and translation support. With deep experience in medical, IoT, and wireless device compliance, the laboratory delivers fast, accurate, and reliable testing programs to help manufacturers achieve international approvals.
